T'ai Chi, an ancient Chinese exercise form, is now practised worldwide by both young and old for health and self-defence. All parts of the body are brought into play through a series of learned patterns called forms. These are characterised by profound slowness, absolute continuity of movement and a concentrated awareness of what one is doing at all times. T'ai Chi has many health benefits - it helps circulation, flexibility and stamina and also improves concentration and co-ordination.
Richard Lang teaches the Yang style, long form and David Prince teaches Wu style, short form.
